Starting with the End in Mind

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ≈1 Thessalonians 5:18

Happy New Year!

Congratulations to the winners of a copy of Calling on Jesus

I’m thankful to Jesus that His blessings are renewed daily. Therefore, resolutions that weren’t achieved in 2015 can be renewed goals for 2016. Hence, as we acknowledge our experiences and challenges and recognize the things that didn’t get accomplished. There is an opportunity to embrace the things that we can change as we move forward in faith, hope and love.

No matter what’s on our list of New Year’s Resolutions. Whether it’s a new career or a job promotion, lose weight or gain weight, buy a home or sell a house, be healed or care for the sick, start a new church or evangelize around the world, find love or spend more time with loved ones, write a book or star in a TV show, overcome heartbreak or recover from loss, be forgiven or forgive, play major league ball or coach little league, get a new car or fix the old truck, do better in school or graduate college. No matter what our specific request, Jesus cares. And God’s guidance is just a prayer away.

Thank you Jesus that I’m still here, along with those that I love. I remember my loved ones that have already passed this way, may they rest in your everlasting care. On this New Year’s Day, let my hopes and dreams align with your will, for my life, that I may live my best destiny each day.

For, your will is what’s best for me.

God Bless… I am Wiley’s granddaughter.
